Cycling in Germany is not only about putting on a Lycra suit, it is a way of commuting and endless bike lanes in small and large cities and bike park houses and parking lots make it easy.The German National Cyclists’ Association (ADFC) elects every year the countries most bike friendly city. For many years, also in 2017,  Muenster has been  named  the nation's  bike capital .35 -40% of  road traffic is actually  bike traffic. With more push bikes then residents,   the city boosts also the largest bike park house in Europe.However the Muenchen Newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung thought is was time to look into other statistics and produced a little video. It is in German language but not very difficult and with a dictionary at hand easy to understand .
