Lunch time Concert with Winfried Boenig at Melbourne Town Hall

‍For friends of Baroque Organ musik: German Winfried Boenig will play Bach at the Melbourne Town Hall on Wednesday, 21st of March from 1-2pm.

Boenig was appointed professor of organ at the Hochschule fuer Musik in Cologne in 1998 and he is the organist of Cologne Cathedral since 2001. If you would like to hear an interview with Winfried recorded in December 2011 follow this link to WDR (West German broadcaster, based in Cologne). The interview has been conducted in German language, suitable for advanced level of German language learning.

No advanced language skills are necessary to listen to Johann Sebastian Bach's Fantasie g-moll BWV 542/1, played by Winfried Boenig, recorded at the Cologne Cathedral in 2011.

The Melbourne lunch time concert will be Winfried's debut in Australia. The entry is free.
