The Substation Gallery in Newport will host Berlin born and based photographer/ bouncer Sven Marquardt's first solo exhibition in Australia.Marquardt was trained as a photographer in the early Eighty's , starting with fashion photography, later shooting Berlin's underground and night club scene. He also works as a bouncer at the famous Berghain club,which also serves as a background for  his analog photography.If you are interested in Marquardt and his world read the following interview (in German language), medium to advanced level German is helpful.
